Winemaker Notes

Blueberry, boysenberry, pie crust, and baking spice aromas. On the palate, baking notes continue and combine seamlessly with plums, fresh black cherries, and hints of licorice, with plenty of density and body. Bold but memorable, this wine has a nice, long finish with soft, round tannins.

Food Pairing 

Pairs well with smoked sausage with creamy polenta and gorgonzola stuffed dates wrapped in bacon.
