Speri Valpolicella Classico 2023

Category:

Red Blends from Valpolicella, Veneto, Italy

Winemaker Notes

Ruby red color with purplish highlights and an tense, vinous bouquet, with hints of violets and cherries. A medium-bodied, fruity wine, to be enjoyed young.

James Suckling – 91 Points

Benchmark Valpo. Others should take note. A thirst-slaking rail of salty phenolics, doused in tangerines and sour cherries, with a touch of garden and alpine herbs. Brisk acidity carries length, finishing with a kick of quinine. Delicious. From organically grown grapes. Sustainable.

Food Pairing

Pairs well with hors d’oeuvres, soups, pasta and typical Mediterranean dishes.
