Winemaker Notes

The harvest began in Barbaresco on September 22nd and ended on October 3rd without any problems. The smaller than usual grapes shifted the skin/pulp ratio in favor of the former and the result was a tannic charge and colorant substance better than expected after the difficult summer season. The alcohol content is high, but in line with recent years and, once the vinification is finished, the aromatic richness is good.

We can say that the Barbarescos of the 2022 vintage, despite everything, will be wines of excellent drinkability and balance and that will guarantee a good capacity for aging.

Food Pairing 

Pairs well with meat and vegetable starters, pasta dishes including spicy ones, white and red meats.
