Pauillac 2019
Bordeaux blend from Pauillac, Bordeaux, France
Bordeaux Bard – 91 Points
I must say, this wine was quite surprising. Despite being a 2019, it still shows beautifully for its age. Patience is key with this one—it really opens up after 3 plus hours. The tannins are remarkably silky, especially for the vintage, and it boasts intense flavors of cassis, blackberries, blueberries, and a hint of tobacco. The finish is long and silky, adding to its overall elegance. Initially seeming a bit dormant, this wine has truly evolved into a well-rounded, drinkable option at this age. (Carson McEvoy)
Food Pairing
