Pascal Doquet Anthocyanes Brut Rose Premier Cru
Sparkling Rosé from Champagne, France
Blend: 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay
Winemaker Notes
Intense in color and character; “anthocyanes” means pigment, after all. Raspberry, cinnamon spice and clove flavors are present in this rather full-bodied Rosé Champagne.
James Suckling – 90 Points
Pale salmon-pink with aromas of sliced strawberries, citrus peel and rose petals. Some honey. It’s soft, creamy and elegant, with silky bubbles and a pretty, floral finish. 50% pinot noir and 50% chardonnay. From organically grown grapes.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with meaty and oily fish, such as salmon, mackerel, swordfish, monkfish and tuna.
