Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2019
Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2019
Chardonnay from Aloxe-Corton, Cote de Beaune, Cote d’Or, Burgundy, France
Bordeaux Bard – 90 Points
This wine boasts a smooth, concentrated, and silky profile. Though full-bodied, it offers a gentle, soft texture on the palate. It may be entering a more reserved phase, as it didn’t quite hit the mark tonight compared to its peers. Nonetheless, it remains fresh with a pronounced mineral character and subtle hints of toasted nuts and smoke. Still, in its youth, it’s exciting to imagine its evolution over the next 5–10 years—definitely a wine worth exploring. (Carson McEvoy)
Food Pairing
Pairs well with lobster, salmon with sorrel or delicate fish, but also with foie gras, blanquettes and chicken with morels
