Winemaker Notes

Dark garnet in color with cherry, strawberry, and white pepper aromas. The entry is broad and expansive with black cherry, wild blackberry, rhubarb, and ripe plum. Velvety smooth and rich on the mid-palate. Finishes with spicy notes of clove and cinnamon.

This has an earthy character with dark fruit, cocoa and licorice aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, compact and dense with chalky tannins and succulent black and blue fruit in the middle. Polished and velvety.

Pairs well with black bean soup topped with cheddar cheese, avocado, and creme fraiche.
