Domaine Tollot-Beaut Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru 2019
Pinot Noir from Cote de Beaune, Cote d’Or, Burgundy, France
Winemaker Notes
Bressandes is highly expressive, firm, and powerful thanks to the high limestone content of its soil. Often cited as one of the very best climate on the Corton hill, it shows aromas and flavors of red and blackberry liqueur, earthiness, flowers, and herbs with powerful tannins. Corton-Bressandes will reward long aging in a cool cellar.
Wine Spectator – 96 Points
A firm, tightly wound red, with black cherry, black currant, tar and mineral aromas and flavors wrapped in a compact structure. Racy, extending on the aftertaste with fruit, mineral and spice elements. This is intense and pretty much closed for now. Best from 2025.
Food Pairing
Pairs well with roasted game birds, grilled duck breast, and dishes that feature mushrooms, black truffles, or are rich in umami.
