Winemaker Notes

Grown from the four best blocks of the Hirondelle Estate Vineyard, this wine is bold, elegant, and impeccably balanced. Rich flavors of blackcurrant, cedar, mint, and dark chocolate are followed by velvety tannins and a long, smooth finish.

This has a fragrant nose of black cherries, pine needles, licorice and mocha. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, tight-grained tannins. Fantastic depth of fruit and focus.

Pairs well with classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, ribs, and hamburgers.
