Winemaker Notes

This elegant Chardonnay has tropical fruit aromas of crushed pineapple and lemon curd. Refined white nectarine and Meyer lemon zest flavors are balanced with a bright acidity and complemented by toasted marshmallow and a luxurious texture from 100% oak aging. The finish is long and elegant.

Made from all estate-grown grapes on the Sonoma side of Chardonnay, this lush, ripe and creamy wine is part of a renaissance for one of Sonoma’s 20th-century pioneers. Beautiful pear and juicy apple notes blend with hints of lemon zest, butter and vanilla. Barrel-fermented and beautiful.

Pairs well with Asian pear salad, halibut and lemon beurre blanc and toast almond cake.
