Winemaker Notes

This Chianti Classico Riserva D.O.C.G. comes from a selection of Sangiovese grapes from two different vineyards: Il Corno and Il Selvale.

Clear ruby in color, with soft garnet highlights. Intense fragrance of brushwood with scents of spices and vanilla. Long and balanced mouthfeel, with a savoury and persistent finish.

Discovering a Riserva at this price point was a pleasant surprise that piqued my curiosity! The nose is beautifully floral, with notes of leather, smoke, and plum. The palate offers a rich concentration of fruit, making it a truly delightful find—especially for the price. (Carson McEvoy)
