Bordeaux Red Blend from Mendoza, Argentina

Blend: 64% Malbec and 36% Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemakers Notes

Deep red color with intense ruby hues. Very fruity on the nose, with blackcurrant, strawberry, floral and minty notes coming through, followed by aromas of cassis, graphite and coffee bean. On the palate, the wine is balanced and pleasant, with texture and refined tannins. A fruity middle palate leads to an elegant and long aftertaste.

Aromas of currants, sweet tobacco and oyster shell follow through to a medium to full body with firm, creamy tannins and a steely finish. Drink after 2021.

Food Pairing 

Pairs well with steaks on the grill, loin of venison with blackberry sauce, and lamb Wellington.
