Winemaker Notes

Intense ruby red in colour, fragrant nose with scents of wild prune, black cherry jam, pepper. Dry but enveloping in the mouth with sweet notes of red fruits; balanced alcohol content and stunningly soft thanks to its reduced acidity.

Smoky, framing black cherry and blackberry fruit flavors. This is smooth and vibrant too, with lingering accents of smoky oak and almond on the finish. Balanced and appealing, but not for everyone. Drink now.

Food Pairing 

Pairs well with the richness of Italian meats like salami, mortadella, and bologna, and cuts through the flavors of French paté and terrines.
