Wild Hog is a small family-run operation situated east of Fort Ross, at 1400 feet in elevation five miles from the Pacific Ocean. Co-founder Daniel Schoenfeld started out as a home winemaker in 1977, born out of a passion for gardening, food and wine. Together with his wife Marion, the Wild Hog team is committed to sustainable farming and wine production; they have been certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers since 1981
